What Two Million Dollars On Wheels Looks Like

Want to know what spending over two million dollars on a car will net you? Look to the pic on the right. That lovely beauty is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sports, the most expensive street legal car on the market.

This sleek red and black monster can go from 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. Under its hood sits two V8 engines; that’s right two V8 engines. This engine configuration can generate 1200 horsepower; I honestly don’t know of any normal road out there that enable you to fully utilize all 1200 horses. Its maximum speed is 268 MPH; again, what road – besides racing tracks – will allow you to reach this obscene speed?

The overall price might be mind-boggling but you should know the prices for some of the parts. To replace all four wheels you will need to cough up $36,000. If your transmission is a goner you’re going to pay $172,000 to replace it. Ouch.

A car like this requires big money making and spending to drive but if money is no object to you, then go right on ahead and buy it.

Move Over Champagne, Lambrusco Has Arrived

Fancy people consume a lot of champagne. I drink at least 3 bottles a day and I have been since I was 11 years old. I also wash my face and feet in champagne, or rather I have others wash them in champagne for me. But all that is about to change, I am firing my personal staff of 11 people, their children be damned, and I am getting rid of all my champagne. Why you ask? Lambrusco.

Lambrusco is a tasty red sparkling wine presumably from somewhere in Europe, the world capital of fancy rich people things. Technically Lambrusco has not arrived (it has been around for hundreds of years) but I am taking this opportunity to announce to all my fellow 1%ers that it is officially in vogue and the Champagne is dead.

Now it has recently come to my attention that some people reading this blog may be poor. Technically if you make less than $500,000 a year you have no business reading this blog but I am feeling generous so here is a small tid-bit. To experience Lambrusco goodness without the big money price mix vodka, alka seltzer, water and a few table spoons of jam. It is the closest you will come to experiencing the ambrosia known as Lambrusco.

Luxury Holiday Presents

What do you buy the person that just has it all? Everybody deserves a bit of pampering during gift giving season, but let’s take a look at some of the extremes.

Why don’t you give your true love a castle? Yup. An actual castle. At castles-for-sale.com you can find your loved one their very own throne. Well, without the royal servants and benefits, or the power or control. What you do get is a giant home made of stone with lush gardens and a massive amount of property. I guess the perks will have to be saved for their birthday.

What about sightly less expensive gifts? Well, you can buy them a cool electric car, a rare diamond, or a charter to space. How’s that for luxury overdose? All of these gifts range high. Amazingly enough the Virgin Galactic charter to space is cheaper than the Annenberg diamond, coming to a $200,000 price as opposed to the $3 to $5 million price bracket. The Tesla car comes in the lowest a striking $128,500. Oh, gee, what a bargain.

I don’t know about the rest of you but in order for anybody I love to get these gifts they have to take more than a bullet for me. They have to go above and beyond to prove that I am way more important than them in just about everything ever.

Traveling In Absolute Luxury

If you thought having a TV in first class was a big deal then you obviously haven’t heard of British Airways’ new luxury First Class. The flights headed to Heathrow Terminal feature the most luxurious flight experience ever for anyone willing to pay the price. You start off by avoiding long lines at the departure terminal. While waiting for your flight you get to sit in an exclusive lounge with big, comfy chairs, a bar, and wonderful food service.

Once you’re all seated for your flight you can enjoy the in-cabin benefits. First of all, you get an incredibly spacious chair. Like an armchair kind of chair, not a fight-for-the-armrest, squished kind of chair. Your meals aren’t crackers and typical plane food either. It’s a reasonable meal with treats.

If you have an overnight red-eye flight you get a little bed. You get your sheets and a pillow. Enjoy your little sleeping space because when you wake up you get a real breakfast.

This is probably the most comfortable you will ever get on a flight lasting approximately 5 hours, depending on your departing city. Considering you are not going to have to deal with cramped legroom and you get some peace and solitude you are definitely traveling in luxury.

Botox Light

I have been working a lot. It’s those kinds of times. Our companies are asking more of us but being busy is mostly a good thing and besides I am happy to have a good job. Still I can not help but notice these bags around my eyes and these creases in my forehead. I may be a little overworked and under rested but that doesn’t mean that I should start looking old this early in the game.

My expectations about my future never really included any sort of cosmetic surgery but since I am doing well and since I do think I deserve to treat myself I have been considering botox injections. I did not want to go all in on wrinkle removal but some light botox seemed like a good move. Smooth Med is offering a “Botox Light” service for a mere $530. It seems like kind of an amazing deal. My skin, and likely my wife will be happy about it too.
